Antique Postcard - Folkestone, Kent, England
Inner Harbour and Pavilion Hotel, Folkestone, England
This is a colour washed photo and features the Pavilion Hotel before it was renamed Royal Pavilion. This change of name occurred due to a visit from Queen Victoria and / or Prince Albert. The exact date is not known by me and I can't find it but articles say it is considered to have been a while before the 1890's. Also note the collier boats in the harbour again suggesting late Victorian Era.
The card has not been written on or posted.
Condition - a few slight marks and several corner creases but the card is whole.
