Volunteers Needed

We, at Algarve Emporium Charity, are fortunate to have a dynamic team of 23 dedicated volunteers. A diverse range of tasks is allocated to each volunteer, with some handling multiple responsibilities.

Certain tasks, such as overseeing our periodic book sale table at The Food Co Portimão, only require a brief time commitment, exemplified by Scott & Sarah.

Others are actively engaged in organizing social and sales events.

An efficient and committed team manages food distribution every Friday in Tunes, while another team focuses on all matters concerning children.

Additionally, there is a delivery team responsible for transporting goods to designated locations once a month. This team, including individuals like Michele, coordinates with me to collect the items and subsequently meets customers at predetermined locations, typically spending around 2 hours monthly on these tasks.

Moreover, a group of seven individuals, myself included, sell donated goods on Facebook to generate funds for feeding families. With collection points spanning from Lagos to Almancil, expanding our reach to include a meeting point in Faro would significantly enhance the appeal of our auctions and selling group.
