The Basement Band

The Basement Band is a rock group Based in Central Algarve. They play for fun, entertaining the public at various venues in the Algarve. All to give money to assorted charities.

Their music spans from 1960’s to 1990’s all played in their own wonderful style. Their audiences are amazingly generous at the events held by the band.

On 18th August 2024 they played at Loopers Bar in Alfontes (near Boliqueime). we were given the amazing donation of 1,000€ to provide supplies for children returning to school. Kay Cox looks after all things children related in the families that we care for. Not only has Kay been able to supply all our children with backpacks full of the necessary requirements for the year ahead, plus a few extras in case of emergencies and new families joining us but she has been able to build stock of a lot of things ready for next year.

This is the second time that we have been lucky in receiving a donation from Basement Band, last time we received an amazing 1,500€ to buy food for struggling families. Thank you Basement Band and their supporters. ❤️
